From Paris to Biarritz via Bordeaux

Our day started with an early wake up at 5:15 am.  By 6:15 we were all boarding our buses and shortly thereafter headed to the train station.  After breakfast, ATMs, a little piano playing and lots of waking up, we boarded the TGV.

We had a beautiful three and a half hour ride south.

Arriving in Bordeaux, we were introduced to the French city that was deemed in the top ten by the French.

This beautiful city had great architecture and was our lunch stop for the day!  We boarded our new buses and headed to Biarritz.  We had a special stop at the beach to stretch our legs and eat an ice cream.

Everyone was sorry to leave, but excited to return tomorrow afternoon for more fun in the sun.  The weather has been outstanding!

We took the bus to our dinner location and then headed to our new hotel.  Many of us took a walk to the beach in the evening.  We are looking forward to Spain tomorrow and more beach time in Biarritz!
